Our virtual assistant can now help arrange a disconnection of your energy services on your preferred date. Here are the steps to organise your move out:

  1. Log in to My Account or the AGL app.
  2. Select the chat icon to chat to our virtual assistant and tell them you want to arrange a disconnection.

Disconnection fees

Depending on your state, you may have to pay a fee for your final meter read. These fees are charged by the distributor and we'll pass them through to your final bill. You can find more details at Fees and charges.

Business disconnections

For business customers, you can arrange for a relocation or a disconnection by contacting our business team on 133 835 (Monday–Friday, 8 am–6 pm AEST) or learn more on Business moves.
