To make sure you’re not left without an internet connection, make sure you sign up with your new provider before contacting us to arrange a disconnection. . When you are connected with your new provider, you can then contact us to request disconnection.

If you no longer need gas, there are 2 options to physically stop the supply. The right option for you depends on if you need a temporary or permanent solution, and if you’re planning any major works at the property.
If you don’t need gas right now, but may need it in the future, you can request a temporary disconnection of gas. A gas technician blocks the flow of gas, and your gas meter and pipeline stay on the property, which makes it easy to reconnect in future.
To arrange for a temporary gas disconnection, contact us.
Completely isolating your gas supply at the street and removing your gas meter may suit you if you no longer use gas and don’t plan to need it again. Or, if you’re planning major renovations, a rebuild or demolition.
If you want gas again in the future, you’ll need a new meter and pipeline installed. This has a cost attached.

If you’re not sure which option is right for you, contact your gas distributor. Visit the Government’s website to find your distributor.
