When you signed up with your builder, you signed up with AGL via our form or completed our signup within AGL's New Connections platform. For your reference, below are our Connections terms and conditions and Important Information you agreed to.

Connection Terms agreed to:

For ELECTRICITY installations, I hereby agree to the following:

  • I authorise AGL to arrange for the Meter Service Provider to install the electricity meter and connection at the supply address on the earlier of either a date agreed with me or within 6 business days from the completion of the supply work, including any additional metering alterations required for solar installation. If there are any additional metering alterations required for solar installation, I agree to accept the standard Addition/Alteration charge, which will appear on my next account. Most addition/alteration charges are passed-through by AGL from my Meter Service Provider and vary according to the works required and my distribution zone.
  • I acknowledge that my builder may receive a fee from AGL for referring me to AGL.
  • I acknowledge and agree that upon installation, electricity for the supply address listed will be sold to me on the terms and conditions and rates that apply under AGL's Standard Retail Contract.
  • I understand and agree that AGL may vary rates from time to time, generally once a year in July with prior notice provided. The solar feed-in tariffs under this energy plan are variable and can change with notice to you at any time.
  • If we vary your solar feed-in tariff, we will give you notice. In Victoria, this notice will be at least five business days prior to the variation.

For GAS installations, I hereby agree to the following:

  • I authorise AGL to arrange for the Distributor to install natural gas at the supply address listed on the date the request is accepted, or as soon afterwards as can conveniently be arranged.
  • I understand the acceptance of the installation work is subject to an on-site check of conditions by the Distributor. Work is subject to availability of a suitable gas main at the property boundary. NOTE. The account holder must obtain written approval from the affected parties to lay pipes in any common service access areas, particularly for battle-axe blocks with no street frontage, dual occupancy, common driveways etc. I acknowledge that offers for the sale of natural gas are not available to all geographical areas and are subject to natural gas availability.
  • I agree to accept the standard installation charge, which will appear on the first account. I understand most installation charges are passed-through by AGL from my Distributor and vary according to the works required and my distribution zone. Should the works attract a non-standard charge, I will be contacted for approval before proceeding.
  • I understand the site specific information will be provided by my builder to AGL and the relevant distributors.
  • I acknowledge and agree that upon installation, gas for the supply address listed will be sold to me on the terms and conditions and rates that apply under AGL's Standard Retail Contract.
  • I understand and agree that AGL may vary rates from time to time, generally once a year in July with prior notice provided.
  • I acknowledge that my builder may receive a fee from AGL for referring me to AGL.
