About one-time codes

A one-time code is a secure and temporary code sent to an email address or mobile number. It's a way of checking that the person trying to log in to My Account also has access to the linked email account or mobile number.

The one-time code is only valid for five minutes after it is sent. If it expires, you'll need to request another one.

  1. Log in with a one-time code.
  2. You can use a one-time code as a second authentication factor if you have set up two-factor authentication for login.
  3. Log in with your email or mobile and password.
  4. We’ll send a one-time code to your email or mobile.
  5. Enter this code in the 'Enter Code' field and select 'Next' to finalise login.
  6. Remember, you'll need to use the code within five minutes or you’ll to request a new one.

Never share your one-time code with anyone else. This includes anyone who calls, texts or emails you asking for the code.
