Using My Account

My Account gives you an easy way to manage your account online, and do things like check usage and pay bills. 

Log in to My Account

If you haven’t already, it’s easy to register for My Account.

Control usage

You can use My Account to stay on top of your electricity and gas usage. You can:

  • check your usage and how much it costs

  • compare past usage periods

  • enter your own meter reads for more accurate billing.

If you have a smart meter, get even more insights into your usage. You can:

  • drill down into weekly, daily and hourly views

  • see when you’ve been using more energy than usual

  • download your usage data.

Keep in mind that your usage refers to the amount of energy you’ve used in a given period, measured in kWh (kilowatt hours) for electricity and MJ (megajoules) for gas.

Usage cost is the cost of your usage in dollars, exclusive of any supply charges, unbilled charges, credits or pay on time discounts.

Manage billing and payments

In My Account it’s easy to:

  • make payments

  • update payment details

  • check your account balance and next bill’s due date.

View and download bills

To view and download your latest bill in My Account:

  1. Go to the Billing tab.

  2. Select Download your PDF bill.

Previous bills are also available for download:

  1. Go to the Billing tab.

  2. Scroll down to Bill history to find previous bills.

  3. Select the down arrow to the right of the bill you want to download.

  4. Select Download your PDF bill.

You can also use My Account to make sure you’re receiving and paying bills in a way that works for your household. You can set up:  

Manage account

You can use My Account to easily:

  • update personal details

  • add an authorised person

  • manage multiple properties.

You can also organise a house or business move, track your solar feed-in and check your AGL rewards from the Overview screen in My Account.

If you’d like to add another account to your My Account, get in touch with us. You'll need to have your account numbers ready. Remember that each account can only be registered to one My Account.

Login problems

If you’re having trouble logging in, registering, or with your password, visit Login problems.

Unable to see usage

After you sign up to AGL for gas or electricity, it can take up to three months for your service to transfer across to us. During that time, we won't have any usage information to show you in My Account.

We'll contact you when your transfer is complete, so you can log in and see it all for the first time.
