We’re making our website, digital channels and all communications more accessible.

Our goal for the AGL website is to conform to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

We take the following measures to ensure our website is accessible:

  • Include accessibility in our internal research, design, development and testing policies.
  • Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
  • Provide continual digital accessibility training for our staff.
  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
  • Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.

Technical specifications

Accessibility of our website relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your device:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript

These technologies are needed in order for our website to meet the accessibility standards.

How we’ll keep improving

To conform with the latest accessibility guidelines, we continue to review, test and modify our website. We’ve recently engaged an external agency to help with this and we are currently working on a range of initiatives with our development teams.

As with any digital asset, releases are frequent and technologies ever changing, meaning that accessibility is an activity that will be always on, and respected by AGL.
