Market retail contracts are specific gas and electricity offers from AGL.

What is a market contract?

Market contracts are gas and electricity offers from AGL that can include additional benefits like discounts, fixed rates or credits. The terms and conditions under market contracts are different from our standard retail contracts.

Our general terms and conditions are important contractual documents and we encourage you to review them as well as any recent changes.

Residential customers

You’ll be on a market contract if you accept any of these plans:
 

  • AGL Smart Saver

  • AGL Netflix Plan

  • AGL Solar Savers

  • AGL Three for Free

  • AGL Savers.

Small business customers

You’ll be on a market contract if you accept either pf these plans:
 

  • AGL Business Smart Saver

  • AGL Business Savers

Variation to Market Retail Contract General Terms for Western Australia

AGL has varied its Market Retail Contract General Terms following recent changes to regulatory requirements applicable to small gas customers in WA. These include:

  • changes to the notice requirements for a variation to gas rates and charges;  

  • the inclusion of new protections for vulnerable residential customers; and

  • changes to the payment assistance available if you are having trouble paying your bill.
