What's an eSIM? 

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is the latest in SIM technology. It’s like a virtual SIM card that’s built into capable devices including mobile phones. It means you don’t need a physical SIM card to use or activate a mobile plan.

The benefits of an eSIM 

  • Fast activation
    No more waiting around for a physical SIM to arrive. Scan the QR code in your welcome email and follow the prompts to activate your eSIM. It’s that easy. 
  • Two numbers. One phone.
    Depending on your phone’s capabilities, you can set up two numbers on one phone. Have one number for work and one for personal use and enjoy the flexibility.
  • Kinder to the planet
    eSIMs use less plastic and they don’t need to be delivered. Making them a more responsible choice with less impact on the planet.

Do I need a compatible device?

Yes. Before ordering an AGL plan on an eSIM, check with the manufacturer of your device to make sure it’s compatible with eSIM.

Can I switch from an AGL physical SIM to an AGL eSIM? 

Yes. To switch from an AGL physical SIM to an eSIM, just contact us to order an eSIM, and then go through the activation.

Please note: there will be a SIM replacement charge of $10 when you switch from an AGL physical SIM to an AGL eSIM.

How to order an AGL eSIM 

Simply choose your plan, then select either a physical SIM card or eSIM as you go through to the checkout.

Once you’ve placed your order, you'll receive a welcome email with details of how to set up your eSIM.
