To activate your physical SIM card
Activation usually occurs within the hour but can take up to 2 business days. We’ll send you a confirmation SMS once it’s activated.
- Log in to My Account, then select a property (if applicable).
- Scroll down to the Mobile section.
- Select Activate SIM and follow the prompts. Note: you’ll need the 13-digit SIM serial number located on the back of your SIM card.
If you’re transferring your number from another provider, wait until your old service stops working, then insert your new AGL SIM card.
If you’ve ordered a new number with your AGL service, we'll activate your SIM automatically on the day it arrives. All you need to do is insert your new SIM into your device. If it isn’t activated on the day it arrives it might take another 1-2 business days, or you can follow the steps above to activate your SIM.
Please note: if you don't have an AGL online account, you'll be prompted to register for one before activating your AGL SIM by selecting the login button below.
