How to manage the account of someone who has passed away.

Finalising the estate of someone who has passed away can be a stressful time, so we want to help you close or transfer the energy account and make this as easy as possible.

Information you’ll need before you call

  • Your name and contact details
  • Your relationship to the account holder
  • The name of the executor (if it isn’t you) and their details
  • The account details of the deceased person

You don’t have to be family or the executor of the estate, so long as you can tell us the above information to make sure we're providing the correct service.

If we need any documents, we’ll let you know the best way to send them to us.

How it works
