Supporting a renewable future close to home

Growing up on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula, I’ve always felt a strong connection to this region. Thanks to the growth of the renewable energy industry, I’ve been able to stay close to my family and friends, raise my child here, and build a career I’m proud of – all in the place I call home.

I work as a Maintenance Planner at AGL’s Wattle Point Wind Farm in South Australia. Every day brings something different – from coordinating maintenance schedules to solving new challenges across our fleet of wind farms. It’s dynamic and rewarding work that plays a real part in powering the energy transition.

“One of the most exciting parts of my role is helping to grow AGL’s wind business unit.”

Building our wind future

One of the most exciting parts of my role is helping to grow AGL’s wind business unit. We’re laying the groundwork to expand our renewable portfolio, and it’s inspiring to be part of a team that’s shaping the future of energy in Australia.

I often think about our small community and the opportunities that renewable energy brings – not just for today, but for generations to come. It’s about more than just power; it’s about creating a positive legacy for regional towns like mine.

Proud local, proud contributor to the transition

Living and working in such a stunning part of the world is something I never take for granted. We get to work, rest and play in one of the most beautiful places on earth – and I’m proud that my work contributes positively to the region.

I’m Chloe. And this is My Energy Story.
