Community Matters

AGL Macquarie takes a prominent role in the Hunter Valley community, not only as a major economic contributor but also as an active partner in community development.

Consultation with Upper Hunter communities over existing and proposed AGL Macquarie activities is an important aspect of our business.

Community Dialogue Group

AGL is launching a Community Dialogue Group at AGL Macquarie.

This is an opportunity for members of the local community and interest groups to share ideas, provide feedback and learn more about AGL Macquarie’s operations.

Membership of the AGL Macquarie Community Dialogue Group is voluntary, and the group will meet up to four times per year.

The AGL Macquarie Community Dialogue Group will have an independent Chairperson.

A Community Consultative Committee operated for many years at Liddell and Bayswater power stations and AGL Macquarie is now relaunching the committee in line with our community engagement commitments.

Through our Corporate Sponsorship Program and Community Support Program AGL Macquarie proudly supports a variety of Hunter based organisations that are making a valuable contribution to building their local communities.

We aim to enhance the quality of life people in the Hunter region enjoy, by encouraging the development of stronger communities and the good citizenship of our employees.

AGL Macquarie welcomes applications from Hunter based organisations seeking support for their activities. An advisory committee meets regularly to assess applications and allocate support.

All applications must include an application form. A completed form will assist our evaluation of your request.

Station Visitor Safety Induction

At AGL Macquarie we are proud of our safety record and are determined to maintain it.

When visiting Liddell or Bayswater Power Stations you need to complete our online Station Visitor Safety Induction, which guides you through the rules you must follow while on site.

The induction should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Once you have completed the induction, please print the certificate and bring it with you when you first visit site.

We hope you enjoy your time with AGL Macquarie.

Please Note: Your AGL Macquarie contact needs to advise our security of the dates and times you are visiting.
