Solar feed-in tariff rates
A solar feed-in tariff (FiT) is the rate paid for any electricity your solar system feeds into the grid. Feed-in tariffs not subject to GST for residential customers.
Solar FiTs can vary, and we’ll notify you of any changes. How and when they vary depends on where you live:
VIC & WA: FiTs may be adjusted from time to time based on market value, regulations and changes in demand, with at least five business days’ written notice to you.
NSW & SA: For reductions, at least five business days' notice and only in July (unless driven by a distributor tariff reassignment). For increases, as soon as practicable and no later than your next bill.
QLD: For reductions, at least ten business days' notice and only in July (unless driven by a distributor tariff reassignment). For increases, at least five business days prior.
