Fee schedules

The fee schedule documents for market retail contracts and standard retail contracts provide details of the following fees (if applicable):

  • Payment processing fees, including late payment fee
  • Paper bill fee
  • Reconnection, disconnection and other pass-through fees
  • Other applicable fees

A market retail contract may include discounts and benefits that a standard retail contract will not.

Pass through fees

A distributor is a company (separate from AGL) that will look after the electricity poles, wires and pipes in your area. If we need to arrange a repair or service on your behalf, we may pass through the fees that they’ve charged us onto your bill.

New connections for gas in Victoria

In Victoria, your gas distributor will charge a fee for standard new gas connections which AGL will pass through to you onto your bill. The amount currently varies between $1,500 - $3,000 and is subject to change. The fee will depend on your location, distributor and connection type. Further details can be found here:
