About eBilling

eBilling refers to receiving your bills electronically via your email instead of in the post. eBilling helps you reduce paper use.

eBills have summarised information of payment methods, messages and inserts that you’d otherwise find in the envelope.

When you choose eBilling, you'll receive a summary of the key information along with a temporary link to download a PDF copy of your detailed bill instead of being mailed one.

Switch between eBilling and paper bills

You can switch to eBilling or back to paper bills in My Account:

  1. From the 'Overview tab', select your name in the top right corner, then ‘Account Settings’
  2. Select 'Billing and Payments'
  3. Scroll down to the 'Bill notifications' option, and toggle eBilling on or off.

Your eBills will be sent to the email connected to your account. You can check that your email address is correct in the ‘Update my details’ section.

What will my eBill look like?

Your eBill contains the same information as your paper bill, minus the paper. When your email arrives, you’ll see an eBill summary containing the main details of your bill including the amount, bill period and due date.

You can download the full version of your bill, make a payment or go to the bill explainer for more information on how to read your bill.

View and download your bills online

The best way to view, manage and pay your bills is in My Account or the AGL app.

To view your most recent bill in My Account, go to the 'Billing' tab and select 'Download your PDF bill'. Previous bills are also available for download.

To view your bills in the AGL app, go to the 'Billing' tab, then 'Bill History'.

Still receiving paper bills?

If you've swapped to eBilling but still receive paper bills, log in to My Account to check that:

  • your email address has been registered correctly in ‘Update my details’; and
  • eBilling is setup correctly by going into the Billing and Payments section.
