As a significant employer and investor in the Macarthur-Hawkesdale region, AGL wishes to make a sustainable and positive contribution in the local community by having a fair and transparent mechanism for funding community initiatives.
In 2017, AGL will be running two rounds of applications for Community Funding. Round 1, which ran throughout April. Successful applicants included the Macarthur Cemetery Trust, MADA and the Macarhur-Hawkesdale Netball Club.
Round 2 will run from 30 October 2017 until 24 November 2017. The application form and guidelines can be found here.

The Macarthur Wind Farm Community Fund Program was established to reinvest revenue earned from the wind farm back into the communities around the Macarthur Wind Farm through financial support for community based initiatives, projects and events. The Community Fund targets a range of community needs including; health, social welfare, safety, environment, education and youth, sport, recreation, culture, arts and economic development.
