What's a Virtual Power Plant
A Virtual Power Plant, or VPP for short, is a network of connected solar batteries that can be coordinated like a pop-up power plant.
Together, the energy drawn from each battery can provide a large bank of controllable solar energy. This solar energy can help stabilise the electricity grid and reduce reliance on coal power. It helps create a future where energy is more affordable and renewable.
What do I get for joining?
We've got more than one way to thank you for supporting your community. If you're looking to buy a new solar battery or solar battery bundle or have one installed via a third-party installer, you can get up to $1,000 off the upfront cost by joining our VPP. Already have a solar battery you'd like to connect? We'll give you $100 for signing up, and $45 quarterly credits on your bill if your battery's eligible to connect.
