Simply link your Netflix account after your electricity is set up.

 

You’ll need to activate your existing Netflix account with AGL to pause your subscription with Netflix and avoid being billed twice.

You have to activate your Netflix discount to receive it. You can do this soon after your electricity service is connected.

Within a few hours of your electricity being connected, you’ll have 3 options for activating your Netflix discount:

1. Email
Open the link in the activation email you receive from us or Netflix.

2. My Account
Sign in to AGL My Account and select Activate now on the Overview screenThe AGL app

3. The AGL App
Log in to the AGL app and select Activate now.

You’ll be redirected to Netflix and can follow the prompts.

If you’re an existing customer, you don’t need to cancel your current subscription. Simply follow the steps above and sign in with your existing Netflix credentials.

The email is sent when your electricity connection becomes active. This is within a few hours of a plan swap, the day of moving in, or the day a service becomes active with AGL.

Netflix Standard with ads is included in the AGL Netflix Plan, but you can change your Netflix tier at any time.

To change your Netflix tier, go to Netflix’s change plans page.

Or follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your Netflix account.
  2. Under Plan Details, select Change Plan. If you don’t see Change Plan, visit the Netflix Help Centre.
  3. Choose your desired plan, then select Continue or Update.
  4. Select Confirm change or Confirm.

The cost of any upgraded Netflix tier will be included as a separate item on your AGL electricity bill.

You’ll be invoiced for any upgraded Netflix tier in line with your electricity billing cycle. For example, if your electricity bill is for 90 days, your Netflix charge will also be for 90 days. The cost of any Netflix tier upgrade is billed on a daily pro-rata basis. For the daily rates, check the AGL Netflix Plan terms and conditions.
