I want to switch to AGL. What do I need?

To get started, here's what you should have ready to go:

  • a form of a personal identification, such as your driver's license, Medicare card, or passport
  • a valid email address
  • your flybuys number if you want to receive points for signing up and paying your bill

Once you're ready, choose an electricity or gas plan that suits your needs and complete the online application. Or for more information, contact us on 131 254. 

How is Future Forests different to GreenPower™?

By adding a Green Choice™ option to your electricity plan, we will source the equivalent to a portion (10%, 20% or 100%) of your household's electricity consumption from renewable energy sources. Future Forests offsets the carbon emissions associated with your household's electricity usage through diverse native Australian forestry.

The cost of Green Choice™ can vary depending on the amount of electricity you use. With Future Forests, you just pay $1 a week, whatever your energy usage. You can choose to get one, or both, for your home.

What is the flybuys program?

Flybuys is Australia's largest shopping rewards program. You earn points when you shop with retailers like Coles, Target, Kmart and Liquorland – just to name a few.

After you've collected enough points, you can choose from over 1000 fantastic rewards, all with no fees or charges. Membership is open to anybody who wants to be rewarded for their everyday shopping.

What is My Account?

My Account is an easy way to manage your energy account online. You can check your usage, pay your bill, sign up to direct debit or opt for monthly billing. You'll save time by doing it online with My Account.
