This process can take up to 3 months, depending on when your final bill cycle ends with your current provider and when your next scheduled meter read is. Once you’re ready to go, we’ll confirm your transfer by email. You’ll be able to access My Account and the AGL Energy app when your account number is generated, but usage details will only be shown after the transfer to AGL has been completed.
You also have a 10 business day cooling off period during which you’re able to cancel your switch to an AGL energy plan. This cooling off period runs from the date on which you receive your welcome pack containing the Product Disclosure Statement and General Terms.
