How does AGL Green Energy work?

By adding Green Energy to your new electricity plan, we source electricity equal to 20% or 100% of your total household electricity consumption from renewable energy sources.

20% GreenPower Accredited

$1 weekly (residential customers only)

For $1 per week inc. GST we ensure electricity equal to 20% of your usage will be fed into the grid from Accredited GreenPower generators.

100% GreenPower Accredited

4.4 cents per kWh

For 4.4c /kWh inc. GST we ensure electricity equal to 100% of your usage will be fed into the grid from Accredited GreenPower generators.

The small cost of AGL Green Energy is in addition to your daily electricity charges. These charges are variable and may change at any time with notice to you. Energy plan discounts do not apply to Green charges.
