AEMO NEM Participant Fee Structure

AGL has made a submission to the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) NEM Participant Fee Structure consultation.

AEMO consulted on new fee structure that can improve on the existing fee structure in relation to how AEMO recovers its costs for the activities and outputs.

AGL expressed support for Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs) to be allocated fees. We also supported the fee structure to include new Registered Participant categories such as Integrated Resource Providers (IRPs) and consolidate all initiatives delivered under the NEM Reform Program to be cost recovered exclusively through the NEM Reform cost recovery fee.
