Introducing Emergency Solar Backstop capability in the ACT

AGL welcomes the opportunity to provide responses to the consultation questions posed by the ACT Government on Introducing Emergency Solar Backstop capability in the ACT.  AGL supports the introduction of emergency backstop mechanism measures as a last resort solution. AGL strongly encourages the ACT Government to harmonise its emergency backstop implementation with New South Wales. Harmonisation is critical to achieve a smoother implementation in the region, to minimise impact to industry and consumers, and to ensure the effectiveness of the emergency backstop.
