AGL has completed a social rebrand with an update to its existing social media handles and profile names.

AGL’s profile name will be changed to @AGLAustralia, representing our purpose to serve more than 4.5 million customers with their essential services.

AGL Executive General Manager Corporate Affairs, Liz McNamara said as Australia’s largest multi-product retailer providing energy, internet and mobile services, AGL’s brand is evolving to reflect our diverse offering.

“Social media is an integral part of our communication strategies and equally a great way for customers to engage and interact with AGL,” Ms McNamara said.

“We believe this change reflects AGL’s growth and evolution and are excited to see this change across our digital accounts.”

The new changes will apply to AGL’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram pages from today.
