Pollution Incident Response

H C Extractions

H C Extractions Pty Limited holds Environmental Protection Licence (EPL) No 2695 for its H C Extractions operation in Kurnell NSW.  Part 5.7A of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 (NSW) and the Protection of the Environment Operations (General) Regulation 2009 (POEO(G)Regulation), requires AGL as holder of an EPL to prepare, keep, test and implement a Pollution Incident Response Management Plan (PIRMP). A PIRMP has been prepared for the site in accordance with the Environmental guidelines: Preparation of pollution incident response management plans (March 2012).

AGL is required to publish its procedures for communicating with the community and contacting relevant authorities when an incident occurs. View copies of the Incident Notification Protocol and the Community Notification Protocol for H C Extractions.

Camden Gas Project

The Camden Gas Project holds Environmental Protection Licence (EPL) No 12003 for its operations in the Camden, Wollondilly and Campbelltown local government areas, NSW. Part 5.7A of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 (NSW) and the Protection of the Environment Operations (General) Regulation 2009 (POEO(G)Regulation), requires AGL as holder of an EPL to prepare, keep, test and implement a Pollution Incident Response Management Plan (PIRMP). A PIRMP has been prepared for the project in accordance with the Environmental guidelines: Preparation of pollution incident response management plans (March 2012).

Hunter Gas Project

The Hunter Gas Project holds Environmental Protection Licence (EPL) No 20359 for its exploration activities in the Hunter covering, Upper Hunter, Muswellbrook, Singleton and Cessnock local government areas, NSW. Part 5.7A of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 (NSW) and the Protection of the Environment Operations (General) Regulation 2009 (POEO(G) Regulation), requires AGL as holder of an EPL to prepare, keep, test and implement a Pollution Incident Response Management Plan (PIRMP). A PIRMP has been prepared for the project in accordance with the Environmental guidelines: Preparation of pollution incident response management plans (March 2012).
