Distilling is one of the oldest industrial processes known to man. What we're trying to do is extract or concentrate an alcoholic liquid out of lower alcoholic content. The most energy-intensive part of the distilling process is actually heating that liquid before we do the extraction and take the ethanol out.
I think when you talk about energy providers, a lot of times it's a set and forget. I've used AGL at several of my other businesses in the past, and it was just a no-brainer to bring them across here and use them. I am spinning hundreds of plates every day. So for me, knowing that the power's gonna be on and knowing that I don't need to worry about our supply or how we interact with our provider is very important to me.

When you take a product and it becomes business as usual that’s I guess you sort of compartmentalise that into the workspace. But then when you get to start re-iterating and innovating in the space that’s what really excites us.
Ester has a very strong future. We're looking at increasing our exposure of plant and equipment, potentially other sites for production, and really increasing that economy of scale to enable us to move more into other products and other categories, but also really giving Ester a great one-way to the market, both here and internationally.
