Honey offer customers complimentary smart sensors to keep their homes safer, as well as an ongoing discount* when they sign up for home and contents insurance. Customers are then rewarded with a lower price on their insurance for being safer.

Once received, simply set up and keep your sensors activated to keep the discount, year after year. If you don’t activate your sensors within 28 days, you may become ineligible for your Honey discount. But don’t worry, Honey will keep you in the loop regarding if and when your sensors are active, and at what date you’ll become ineligible for your discount if your sensors remain inactive.
Your Smart Home Program Kit includes 3 multi-purpose smart sensors which detect water leaks, opening doors or windows, and temperature changes.
You’ll also receive a bridge to connect to your Wi-Fi network and 1 magnet accessory for use with sliding doors or windows.
It’s quick and easy to set up and activate your sensors through the app.
You’ll also receive prompts on setting up and activating your sensors from Honey via email.
AGL customers who sign up to a Honey Insurance product via AGL channels, will get $100 (for a Contents-only Insurance policy) or $300 (for a combined Home and Contents Insurance policy) credited to their AGL energy account.
To be eligible for either of the energy bill credits, you must be an AGL electricity or gas customer and purchase a new Contents-only Insurance Policy or a new Combined Home and Contents Insurance Policy with Honey during the Promotion.
To receive the full credit, the policy must remain active for a 12 month period.
New or existing AGL customers who have not previously held a Honey Insurance policy as at 23 May 2023 are eligible. The offer is not applicable to renewals of existing policies which occur during the Promotional Period.
Your name, email address and property address must be the same for both the Honey Insurance policy and AGL energy account(s). Employees and contractors of Honey Insurance who already have a home and contents policy are excluded from the offer.
50% of the credit will be applied to your first AGL electricity bill following 90 days of holding the Honey Insurance policy. The remaining 50% of the credit will be applied to your first AGL electricity bill following 330 days of holding the Honey Insurance policy. If you do not have an electricity account, the credits will be applied to your gas account.
No. Any part of the $100 or $300 energy credit you were paid in line with the terms and conditions of the offer, does not need to be paid back if you leave Honey or AGL.
