We've been in the energy game a long time, so we're always innovating and sharing ideas for how you may save energy and money. We've included some helpful information and useful links.

  1. Concessions and rebates

    Any government concessions on your amaysim account that you're eligible for will be transferred to your AGL account. If you would prefer to not have your concession consent transferred to AGL, call us on 131 245. Find out if you're eligible for concessions, rebates and grants.

  2. Payment options

    If you currently pay by direct debit, these details will be securely transferred over and set up on your AGL account.

    • Review our direct debit terms.

    • If you use AMEX as a method of payment, this will need to be set up through My Account using PayPal as your direct debit or payment option. PayPal supports payments via bank transfer, credit card, debit card and AMEX. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can sign up for one today. AGL does not charge a fee when you pay by PayPal.

  3. Payment support

    We understand that sometimes customers may need that extra help with paying bills. We have options for payment support we can tailor to your circumstances:

    • Log into My Account once your AGL account is set up to manage payment arrangements, such as instalment plans.

    • Learn more about how Bill Smoothing can help make budgeting easier.

    • Check whether you qualify for a payment plan, relief scheme or government-funded concession.

    • If you’re a Victorian residential customer experiencing financial difficulty, see if you're entitled to assistance as part of our Payment Support Victoria program.

    • If you're a residential customer in NSW, QLD, SA or WA learn more about our Staying Connected program which provides personalised assistance that goes beyond traditional payment plans.

  4. Energy plans

    You can review or change your energy plans whenever you like. We don’t charge exit fees. Explore our energy plans.

    If you’d like access to your historic billing and consumption data give us a call and we can provide you with what you need.

Life support

If you have life support equipment registered to your address, your existing life support protections will continue on your AGL account. Please call us on 131 245 if you need to speak with us about our life support program.
