If you are an AGL customer but did not accept a Market Contract Energy Plan, including where you are consuming energy without contacting us to set up an account, then you are on a Standard Retail Contract. This Energy Plan is governed by the applicable energy regulations. From 1 December 2017, the terms and conditions of your Standard Retail Contract have changed, as part of the Power of Choice metering reforms. The NSW Government has removed the regulation of retail gas prices from 1 July 2017.

If you are a residential or small business customer who is on a regulated retail gas price in NSW, your gas supply will continue under Transitional Standard Retail Contract Rates from 1 July 2017. If you are a residential customer, the Transitional Standard Retail Contract Rates will continue to apply until 30 June 2019, and if you are a small business customers, they will continue to apply until 30 June 2018. After that, your gas supply will continue under Standard Retail Contract Rates.
