Bradley Barlow: New Connections Manager - Southern

Joining AGL in 2001, Bradley has over 14 years of Energy Industry Experience.

Formerly Electrician in his previous life outside of AGL. Bradley's experience in managing industrial and commercial clients, relationship management along with his attention to detail, had seen him move into the New Connections Business Development Manager Role responsible for Sales Growth in South Australia and Victoria.

With proven Leadership qualities has seen Bradley move into the Southern New Connections Manager role responsible for continuing the growth along with delivering energy solutions for the future.

Bradley is committed to staying ahead of the curve by providing customers greater visibility and control over their energy usage.

In this role Bradley has been instrumental on how we do New Connections and is committed in delivering an exceptional customer experience, along with ensuring your new connection process is a faster and more efficient way of doing business, with forging solid relationships for the future.

Troy Evans: New Connections Manager - Northern

Troy began his working career as an accounts receivable clerk, after completing s business certificate. After transitioning from customer service to internal sales, Troy began further study and obtained his Diploma in Business. Within a year, he was promoted to an Area Manager for sales and business development.

With a career spanning 20 years in sales – for market leading global brands like Rinnai, Reece, Sharp and Samsung; Troy has developed his commercial acumen across retail, online, distributor, trade, specifier and builder channels. Within these channels he has delivered category growth in Heating, Hot Water, PC Items, Home Appliances, and Audio Visual & Air Conditioning. This has enabled Troy’s career progression from NSW Sales Manager, to NSW Business Manager to National Sales Manager to General Manager – Sales.

Troy’s guiding business principle is to be authentic and in service of the customer and the team he leads; underpinned by a sense of urgency.

During his management career, Troy has continued his Leadership journey by completing studies at Macquarie Graduate School of Management. In the past seven years he has attained his Post Graduate Certificate in Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Management and in 2015 achieved his Masters of Management; with Distinction grades in Operations Management and Transformation Leadership.

As AGL’s New Connections Manager – Northern Region; Troy is looking forward to building a team of dedicated professionals who provide end to end service; guiding customers through complexities and making a positive difference in their business with compelling value propositions.

Daryl Moore - Customer Service Manager - New Connections

Daryl has worked with AGL since 2008, managing Billing Services until 2010 when he took over managing New Connections.

With recognised leadership skills, Daryl has successfully overseen changes to the way new connections are handled, culminating in the establishment of the Premium New Connection team.

In this role, Daryl leads a team of experienced New Connection Specialists and consultants to ensure exceptional service and timely co-ordination of all new connection requests for major builders, electricians and plumbers.

With a strong focus on customer experience and service, Daryl will ensure that your new connection process is a seamless and efficient experience each and every time.

Aaron Smith: New Connections BDM - QLD

Prior to joining AGL Aaron spent 7 Years in the steel industry working across various Account Management roles for BlueScope Steel as well as studying part-time to complete his degree in Sustainable Enterprise, this drew his attention toward the energy industry.

Aaron joined AGL in 2013 originally working in the Commercial & Industrial space where as an Account Executive achieved success by focussing on reducing customer energy costs through energy efficiency measures.

As the locally based QLD New Connections BDM Aaron brings a dedication to providing a high level of service to his clients by improving customer experience by understanding what is important to your organisation and educating clients on the ever changing energy industry.

Laura Mcadam: New Connections BDM - VIC

Laura joined AGL in 2016 and has been in the energy sector since 2002 with experience in both the UK and Australia. Having extensive experience in process, sales and operations, Laura brings her experience, professionalism and commitment to her expanding BDM role with some of Australias largest residential builders.

Laura is customer focused and has proven experience in the new connections area, and within the AGL New Connections team.

Eddie Puia: New Connections BDM - VIC

Eddie has 10 years of vast sales experience, and developed skills in all areas, from account management, business development and field sales management.

Background in electricity has seen growth from residential sales to SME businesses along with small commercial customers throughout NZ and Australia.

With most recent exposure within the Construction/Building Industry has seen Eddie develop great relationships and knowledge.

Eddie enjoys putting the hard hat on and boots to meet people on construction sites or the mix of meetings with heads of businesses and decision makers.

Eddies greatest professional asset, is his ability to offer a high standard of 5 stars customer service, being able to adapt and deal with people from all walks of life.

Paul has extensive experience in Account Management across retail, trade and builder networks; delivering valued solutions in consumer products and services. With a high attention to detail, he is extremely committed to ensuring your new connections experience is at the highest level. With an inherent ability to forge solid relationships, Paul is able to generate outcomes that are mutually beneficial to all stakeholders.

John Rivett: New Connections Sales Support

John joined AGL in 2011 as a Team Leader in the New Connection team.

In 2012 John moved to the role as New Connection Analyst to further enhance the service delivered to our New Connection partners.

He is committed to ensuring the team has the most up to date industry data & reports to enable them to assist and service their partners in the current environment.

John is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of our online New Connection Portal, which is pivotal to our operation and relationships with our partners.

New Meter Installations

For new properties that don't have existing energy connections, we can help you organise your connection.

We can also help install the relevant meter, get the gas or electricity running and assist you with a great plan.

To start the process, you'll need to provide us with a few details online about the property address and gas and electricity connection type. You'll also need to have ready any paperwork that is applicable in your state.

Once you've given us all the details, we'll get started and call you to arrange connection dates and confirm a few more details.

My business is moving premises, what do I need to do?

Organise a move in:

1. Click on the 'Moving' button on the right and follow the instructions on the screen
2. Log in to AGL Energy Online
3. If you haven’t already registered for AGL Energy Online, ensure that you have your recent energy bill handy
4. Select Register on the top right hand corner of You will be automatically directed to My Account, AGL Energy Online’s account management homepage, once you have registered.
5. Select Moving on the top of the page, and follow the instructions on the screen.

Organise a disconnection:

To request a disconnection of gas and/or electricity at your current address, please call 133 835 (Monday to Friday, 8am until 6pm AEST).

How do I get my electricity or gas connected?
To arrange for the connection of electricity or gas at your business premises, call us on 133 835.
