What is solar electricity?
In short, it’s electricity that is created when sunlight is converted into electricity using photovoltaic (PV) panels. These PV panels are usually placed on a north-facing roof of a building.
What’s available?
A large proportion of a household’s total energy consumption is used on heating water. By using the electricity generated by your solar panels to power your hot water system, you could reduce your electricity bills.
