SA Premium Solar Rebate
The South Australian State Government offers a net feed-in tariff per kWh for solar electricity generated and fed into the grid. The current government scheme sets a rate of 44 cents or 16 cents*, depending on your eligibility^, for the first 45 kWh of solar power fed into the electricity grid each day. Any additional electricity exported to the grid will not receive the feed-in tariff payment.
Customers who received approval to connect prior to 1 September 2010 will remain eligible to receive the 44 cents* per kWh for all energy exported to the grid.
In addition to the SA Government scheme rebate you are eligible for^, AGL will add an extra 8 cents* per kWh. So if you’re with AGL and you’re eligible for the SA Government’s solar feed-in tariff, you’ll receive a feed–in tariff of either 52 or 24 cents* per kWh, depending on your eligibility, which will automatically be applied to your account.
