How does it work?
When you add one of AGL's Green Choice™ products to your AGL Energy electricity plan, AGL will source electricity equal to 10%, 20% or 100% of your entire household electricity consumption from renewable energy sources, which is approved under the National GreenPower Accreditation Program.

^ The approximate AGL Green Energy premium per quarter is $89.38, based on the national average household electricity consumption of 1625 kWh per quarter. Actual amount will vary each quarter dependent on actual electricity usage.
* This amount is a premium on top of your electricity account and is inclusive of GST. AGL may, with prior notice, vary the AGL Green Energy® premium to reflect changes in the CPI or market prices for electricity generated from renewable resources. You can terminate your AGL Green Energy component at any time without penalty.
** The AGL Advantage 5 Energy Plan is a 2 year fixed term contract. The 5% discount does not apply to service charges and any applicable demand components in your tariffs. Your rates may vary in the future which could affect the value of the discount you receive. You can terminate your AGL GreenChoiceTM option at any time without penalty.
