To qualify for these discounts you must:

  • Register for AGL Energy Online: Access details of your energy account online, anytime.

  • Pay by Direct Debit1: Makes paying your energy bills easier.
    .
  • Set up paperless billing: You will receive and can access your bills online, hassle free.
    .
  • Guaranteed ongoing discount~: Your usage charges discount is guaranteed on each and every bill for the duration of the Advantage Plan.
    .
  • Fair pricing promise: If your Advantage Plan bill is higher than it would be under a relevant standard energy contract* you can end the plan without paying the Early Termination Fee. Conditions apply. See General Terms for details.

  • Movers guarantee: If you end your Advantage Plan because you are moving to a new supply address, we will waive the Early Termination Fee, if:
    (a) you accept the market offer we make to you to sell you energy at the new supply address; or
    (b) we cannot make an offer because we do not sell energy in the area.

  • AGL Assist voucher(s)^: Eligible customers will receive an AGL Assist voucher to use towards gas and electrical services with AGL Assist or the purchase of a range of appliances at AGL Energy Shops.

# An Early Termination Fee may apply if the Advantage Plan is terminated by you prior to the expiry of its fixed term.

~ The discount is off the amount payable for your applicable peak, off-peak and shoulder energy usage charges, and will appear as a separate credit (GST exclusive) on your bills. The discount does not apply, for example, to fixed daily energy service charges, demand charges or AGL Green Choice™ charges.

1 Under this energy plan you must register for, and use, paperless billing and Direct Debit via AGL Energy Online. This is required to be done after you receive your Welcome Pack and prior to receiving your first bill after your transfer to AGL has completed.

* A standard energy contract is the no-discount plan AGL is required to offer you at your supply address under energy regulation. If AGL does not have that obligation, then refer to the standard energy contract of the retailer that does.
