What is the Alternative Contact Service?

AGL's Alternative Contact Service is a free service designed to give our customers peace of mind when unforseen problems arise.

AGL recognises that people may experience difficulties receiving or paying their accounts on time when they have long periods away from home (such as frequent hospitalisation) or suffer from dementia, a disability or other medical condition.

The Alternative Contact Service ensures if an account becomes overdue and we cannot contact you directly, we have an alternative contact we can try to speak to who will be aware of your situation and know how to contact you should the need arise.

How do I receive further information or register for the Alternative Contact Service?

The Alternative Contact Service brochure includes additional information and a registration form for customers and their alternative contact to complete if they wish to apply for this service.
