AGL generates more renewable energy than any other commercial retailer in Australia. About 30% of all energy sourced by AGL is from renewable sources and we are on track to double this in 5 years.

AGL was the first company in Australia, and the first utility outside North America to join the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) program in March 2007. The CCX is the world's first legally binding greenhouse gas emission reduction registry and trading program.
