New and reconditioned steam boilers
AGL Boilerland builds new high efficiency firetube and watertube steam boilers to proven designs and international boiler standards. Our boilers range from 150 kW to 50 MW, and are fuelled by gas, liquid or solid fuel. All our boiler components are locally sourced from Australian suppliers and we keep many parts in our factory to ensure speedy replacement if a breakdown threatens your production.
AGL Boilerland is one of Australia’s largest suppliers of new and factory-rebuilt boilers. Our factory reconditioned boilers are under warranty and can be built for unattended or limited attendance operation.
We have a number of boilers in stock waiting to be reconditioned and are always seeking more. Hot water boilers
AGL Boilerland designs and manufactures AGL Boilerland hot water boilers to suit your needs. Our hot water boilers are designed to operate at temperatures up to 95°C and through the use of multiple heat exchangers, can operate at two or three different temperatures.
Our hot water boilers are typically installed to supply industrial process hot water, potable hot water for commercial applications, and hot water for space heating solutions. We also have a range of hot water boilers designed to reuse waste heat from industrial processes, engines or turbines.
Our range of hot water boilers includes gas and liquid fuel-fired models ranging from 50 kW to 10 MW, and use the latest in boiler technology. Our boilers are of a vertical steel shell design featuring an efficient two pass system, with an adequately-sized wetback chamber.
Warm water systems
AGL Boilerland warm water systems sized between 50 kW and 400 kW provide sterilised, potable warm water to facilities, such as bathrooms in hospitals, hotels and aged care facilities, where it is important that water remains below 45°C. The construction of the warm water system is similar to the hot water boiler with the addition of a unique tempering and UV treatment system to sterilise and reduce the water temperature to a safe level before reticulating to the facility.
We have installed over 150 warm water systems in hotels, and health and aged care facilities in Queensland and New South Wales. Our design of the warm water system allows the unit to provide hot water and warm water at two or three different temperatures.
General metal fabrication
AGL Boilerland manufactures a range of boiler accessories including blowdown vessels, feedwater tanks, steam headers and chimneys. Bespoke design, fabrication and installation of industrial projects including tanks, pressure vessels, walkways and gantries can be undertaken by our design and manufacturing team. Our manufacturing staff consists of certified engineers, pressure welders and boilermakers.
Infrastructure projects
As part of the Major Customers division of AGL, AGL Boilerland is able to leverage AGL’s national team of over 85 energy, project and engineering specialists for large turnkey projects, including buildings and infrastructure.
AGL Boilerland has designed and supervised the construction of most major chimneys in the Brisbane metropolitan area, including those at the Greenslopes, Mater, Princess Alexandria, Royal Brisbane, St Andrews and Wesley Hospitals.
At the Royal Brisbane Hospital, AGL Boilerland diverted services so that buildings could be demolished and new ones built. We also refurbished all mechanical services for a six-storey building, and were responsible for a new services tunnel linking two buildings.
Boiler hire
AGL Boilerland have a number of steam and hot water boilers from 100 kW to 6 MW available for short or long-term hire which can be transported and installed immediately to assist with boiler breakdowns or boiler plant planned outages and for any other purpose anywhere in Australia.
Maintenance
AGL Boilerland’s service technicians provide expert maintenance and support, and have long-term service contracts for hundreds of boilers across Australia. Our service technician teams are available to provide national maintenance and support for any boiler equipment.
Efficiency and safety inspection
AGL Boilerland is committed to helping customers understand the importance of looking after their boilers. We believe it is highly important that customers have a good knowledge of their boilers’ performance. As safety and efficiency are vital operational factors of any organisation, we can help identify any potential safety risks and unnecessary increase in costs due to boilers not performing at their best. Having regular inspections of your boilers not only maximises the efficient use of natural gas but it also makes sure that you remain compliant with Australian Standards and Gas Codes of practice.
