The CMS Advisory team aims to develop and deliver integrated strategies for large customers to manage risks and optimise their position within a carbon constrained economy. The CMS service offering will include NGER reporting and data management, development of a Carbon Management Strategy, implementation of energy efficiency projects, abatement certificate creation, embedded generation, trading and monetisation of permits, energy contracting and carbon risk management.
AGL’s CMS Advisory team undertakes NGER reporting and strategy development services on behalf of our major commercial and industrial customers. The team are adept at identifying opportunities for least-cost abatement, evaluation of the business case for identified opportunities using forward electricity and carbon prices and assessing the impact of carbon emissions and liabilities on businesses.
In addition to emissions benchmarking, the team can undertake Life Cycle Analysis, undertake reviews of the impacts of regulation and policy on your business and couple innovative energy contracting into your business’ carbon management strategy and operations. The team is also the contact point for customers wishing to engage in trading via purchase of selling of permits.
