As an AGL customer, you will be able to access all of our great products and services like collecting flybuys points every time you pay your bill and My AGL IQ®, a world-class energy reporting tool that lets you track and manage how and when you use energy in your home.
To pay your bill via credit card, please visit the credit card payment page and enter your details.
In order to pay your bill using PayPal, you will need to use your AGL account number which you’ll find located on your AGL bill. Your AGL account number has replaced your Australian Power & Gas account number. If you have it handy, visit the AGL PayPal payment page to complete your payment.
If you’re not sure of your AGL account number you can call AGL on 131 245 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday.

During the transition you will continue to be supplied with your electricity and/or gas just as you are now. For almost all customers this will be under the same plan you have with Australian Power & Gas. If we need to change something about your plan or rates, we will give you notice of that change and your options.
For the time being your account numbers will not change. If you have any questions about your account, simply quote your current account number. When you are moved onto AGL’s billing system we will contact you with your new account number.
In most cases, your existing Direct Debit payment arrangements will continue as they are during the transition. We will contact you if these details need to change.
During the transition you will still be able to make payments using Direct Debit, by credit card online, PayPal, BPAY or cash or cheque at the Post Office, AMEX will not be available going forward.
Yes, if you currently receive a concession on your energy plan, this will continue.
Your plan and rates should not change as part of this transition. You’ll start to see an AGL logo on your bill, but otherwise it should be business as usual. If we need to change something about your plan or rates, we will give you notice of that change and your options.
Australian Power & Gas Online Services will still be available. However, Australian Power & Gas Plus will no longer be available. Once you have transitioned to AGL, you will have access to AGL Energy Online and the smart My AGL IQ online service. See AGL benefits section above for more information.
During the transition, as long as you are moving into an area that Australian Power & Gas currently services, it will be business as usual.
When an Australian Power & Gas bill was paid on time, you may have received a 'Prompt Payment Discount' on your bill. At AGL this discount is detailed on your bill as a 'Pay On Time' discount.
